Cherry Blossom season this year was pretty short because it rained the week after the flowers had blossomed, so we only got about less than three weeks to appreciate everything.

Because of corona, the widely popular Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival was cancelled. Many other cherry blossom festivals around Korea were cancelled as well. Of course, you could still go to these places because it’s not like the cherry blossoms stop blooming because man made festivals are cancelled. However, you would find that there probably weren’t as many people as usual as the cancellations were meant to discourage traveling around the country. Luckily, there are a bunch of other places to see cherry blossoms in Busan.

The pictures I’ll show are from near my school, Oncheoncheon and Samik Apartments. Oncheoncheon and Samik Apartment are pretty popular places to see the cherry blossoms in Busan and luckily I live in walking distance from Samik Apartments and it’s also right by the beach so it’s even better. While I enjoyed seeing the blossoms in Busan, hopefully next year we can travel to different cities to bask in the beauty.

Enjoy the following pictures!
